i’m ruminating on an AU where eridan is 2nd in line for the crown (feferi being the heiress) and everyone gets to wear really nice clothes hehehe ヾ( ´﹃｀)ﾉ
sollux is the court necromancer/psychic/mage who keeps feferi from harm. he’s unusually powerful for someone who wasn’t taken at a young age so the empress/baroness is v fond of him despite his blood colour (to eridan’s chagrin)

design-wise i was going for a nun sort of look ??!! hahaha i realized that these fancy godtiers were me just smooshing ancestor designs x godtier outfits together, but it was kinda inevitable… (ᇂ_ᇂ ”’) oh well!!
gamzee is the court jester/bard, though he was mostly given the position to hide his hatchright as the son of the grand highblood from other members of the court. he was taken as a ward (read: hostage) when the grand highblood and his cult of subjuggulators split from the alternian kingdom, culminating in The Great Scourge.
he’s a bit unstable, but has taken a shine to a sweaty navyblood and a nervous stable-boy….
